There are 3 main requirements to be met by the venue if it is to be suitable to be rigged for a Viva Aerial Dance silk act.

1. The venue must provide one point per performer which has been load tested to 300kg min. (This allows us to work within a safe limit for the act, with a loading safety factor of 5).

2. This point must be min 4.5m from the floor or stage to be able to perform a silks act with a drop at the end. (However, rig heights lower than 4.5m can be suitable for other forms of aerial dance performance, e.g ambient hoop.)

3. The space around each silk where it touches the floor must be clear to a diameter of min 3m.
